I’m moving! Well this blog is please go to www.whitneylanephotography.blogspot.com and check out the design
My photoshoot yesterday proved that it’s hott to be a Mom. This super cute countryfied Mommy and Me shoot was a ton of a fun. Thankfully we avoided the rainstorm that kept trying to get us all afternoon. I believe that this shoot found me my favorite photo I have ever taken so far. I just love it! So here is the preview to Em and Elissa… I know it’s quite a few photos for just a preview but I love them to much not to show them.

My Favorite Photo…possibly of all the time. I am a horse girl though.

Stay Tuned for more…

I posted a few of the photos from John and Kate’s day previously, but I just couldn’t help but put up a few more. This couple was so cute, and fun. From the arch that he constructed to propose to her and that they eventually were married under, to all of the groomsmen’s antics, it was a great day to be a photographer.
Thanks to Carmen of FreshPhotos for having me back this year. It’s hard being so far away, but it felt like deja vu doing this shoot with you. So here are some more of my favorites from the day.

Here is a sneak peak at John and Kate ( and yes they did have 8 in the wedding party) and their beautiful wedding in Rossland B.C. I had a chance to shoot this wedding with Carmen Adams of Fresh Photos. Always a pleasure to get to be the Second Shooter on a FRESH wedding. Here are the first photos I have had a chance fall in love with.

The last time I was in Drumheller was in 1987..and I am 23 so i was under 1 year old! I have always wanted to go but it was just never en route before. This time Kelly and I took a little bit of a detour on the way to B.C to stop and camp in Drumheller. It was a lot cooler then i expected. The Hoodoos were very cool ( I did not know that people used to believe they were giants being punished and turned to stone) and the Museum was amazing. There were so many full dinosaur fossils there that it was a bit overwhelming! I also found it interesting that the ridges and lines you see in the rock in the canyon are supposed to be remnants of a coral reef. I found this little part of Canada fascinating. Sometimes the coolest things are so close to home.

the campground seemed boring so we 4x4 into this valley behind the hoodoos to spend the night. It was super quiet. Kelly heard something sniffing our tent in the night though..must have been a coyote

Black Beauty is the famous name given to this t-rex. It was found in Crowsnest Past by two fisherman looking up at the mountain. SInce then it has been shipped around the world for people to marvel at.

Strange and creepy little creature aint he…

Ethan and Ebony just got engaged a couple of weeks ago, so we went out to Edmonton to celebrate with them and to take some photos of this awesome couple. They go together so well and I know that they will make an amazing team in life. Congrats

Our first attempt at an Amazing Race of our own throughout the province of SK will be taking place in the month of august. Invitations will be out to our contestants by the end of this week. We will be airing the footage we take from the race on my website at the end of august! Interviews of the teams will be posted before hand. I am so excited!!!
I have just added a gallery under stories on my new site called featured. It is going to be whatever my latest and hopefully greatest shoot is at the moment. Afterwards a few of my favorites will be added to the other galleries under stories. So as of now I have added quite a few of Jude’s 1 year old photos to this gallery. Hope you all have fun checking out this little munchkins goofy grins.
